Boys Golf Match CANCELED Today, 4/16
The boys golf match scheduled for today, 4/16, at Durand has been canceled due to unplayable course conditions.  No makeup date has been determined at this time.
Athletic Contests CANCELED Today, April 15th

ALL athletic contests have been CANCELED for today, April 15th.

The HS track meet is rescheduled for tomorrow, April 16th @ 4:00 at Durand.

The JV & V baseball and softball games vs. Ovid-Elsie will be played tomorrow, April 16th… JV – Home, Varsity – Away

The girls tennis match vs. Goodrich has been rescheduled for Friday May 2nd @ Goodrich HS

The girls soccer game vs. Dryden has been rescheduled for Monday May 12th @ Dryden HS.

Boys 1st, Girls 2nd at Home Track Meet

The 2014 Boys & Girls Track season kicked off Wednesday night at home against Flint Powers, Morrice and Michigan School for Deaf.  The Durand Boys team won the meet with 111 points, while the Durand Girls team place 2nd with 68 points behind Flint Powers (117).

First place finishes for the boys include, Hunter Robbins (Pole Vault), Jacob Patsey (100m & 200m), Jarren Guy (800m & 1600m), Armando Landeros (300H), 4x100 team of Tyler Lockhart, Kyle Graham, Landeros, & Patsey, 4x200 team of Lockhart, Graham, Landeros, and Jacob Ford, and the 4x400 team of Landeros, Robbins, Ford & Guy.

First place finishes for the Lady Railroaders include, Madison Fiebernitz (High Jump), Bonnie Emmerling (100m), Brianna Kriel (Long Jump), and the 4x100 team of Kriel, Fiebernitz, Jayden Tracy and Emmerling.

 

Congratulations to both teams!  The next track meet will be on Tuesday April 15th, 4:00pm at Durand vs. Mt Morris and Morrice. 

Girls Soccer vs. Brandon CANCELED
The varsity girls soccer game scheduled for today at Brandon HS, has been canceled due to poor weather and field conditions.  No makeup date has been determined at this time.
Baseball & Softball Games Canceled Today
The JV and Varsity Baseball & Softball games scheduled for today vs. Byron have been cancelled.  No makeup date has been determined at this time.
2014 Durand Softball Clinic
with Team USA Softball Player Amanda Chidester

Team USA player Amanda Chidester and the Durand Varsity Softball team will be hosting a softball clinic on Saturday April 19th from 5:00 - 8:00pm at Durand High School.  The cost of the clinic is $40 per person and is open to players 2nd through 12th grade from any school.

Don't miss this opportunity to receive hitting & fielding instruction from Amanda, who was a Two-time Big Ten Player of the Year, Two-time All-American, Univ. of Michigan's Big Ten Medal of Honor Winner, All Big Ten First Team and is a member of Team USA Softball.

Middle School Spring Sports Practices Begin March 31
Spring sports practices for 7th and 8th grade will begin on Monday March 31st after school.  Spring sports offered include, Baseball, Softball and Track.  Student-athletes must have a current physical on file in order to begin practices.
