Job Summary:  The Academic Intervention Paraprofessional is a RAG grant fund position that will work closely with our teaching staff and administrative staff to support students in grades 9-12 who are at risk of not meeting academic standards. High School Academic Intervention Paraprofessional will be instrumental in implementing the Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) framework, providing targeted instructional support, and fostering positive relationships with students and staff to promote a supportive learning environment. The  High School Academic Intervention Paraprofessional is responsible for administering and implementing academic screening assessments and academic interventions in the areas of Math and Reading.

 

Required Educational Experience:

  • Complete at least two years of study at an institution of higher education (equal to 60 semester hours); or obtain an associate's degree (or higher); or successful completion of the MTTC Basic Skills or WorkKeys (prior to 7/1/2016) or ETS Parapro Assessment (see attached information)

General Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the implementation of the MTSS framework, including data collection, progress monitoring, and support for tiered interventions.

Summary
Under the direction of the Technology Director, the Network Support Specialist is primarily
responsible for all MDF and IDF hardware and software. The candidate will install,
maintain, test, diagnose, repair, and update all hardware and software related to servers,
switches, cameras, backups, and UPS units. Secondary duties include supporting the other
department positions through input, end-user, and application support.

Qualifications
1.  Minimum level of training is a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in information technology
with recent relevant experience.
2.  Three to five years of demonstrated high-level experience with technology
infrastructure and network security, planning, implementation, and monitoring.
3.  Ability to perform moderate physical work, including lifting/carrying equipment
4.  Strong, effective teamwork and communication abilities with excellent customer service
skills.
  • Ability to work independently, as a part of a team, or as a mentor.

Responsibilities
1. Collaborate, plan, install, and manage district-wide network equipment upgrades and
topology modifications.  Support and maintain all components of the district-wide
area network and building local area networks, including switches, firewalls, routers,
and other devices connected to the network.
2.  Planning, installation, and management of Windows and Linux servers and services,
such as Hyper-V, Active Directory Services, DNS and DHCP, LDAPS, NTFS permissions,
File Shares, SCCM, RDS, log management, SAN technology, EDR solutions, etc.
3. Planning, rollout, and management of district-wide cloud-based systems such as AZURE
AD/Entra, Google Workspace, AWS, etc.
4. Ensures that servers, network equipment, and services are regularly updated to the
latest security patches.
5. Maintains data and application integrity, protects against viruses and malicious
software, and prevents unauthorized network use.
6. Manages the district-wide data backup system to ensure reliable server and information
backups following industry standards.
7.  Maintains and improves the District's server and network monitoring systems.
8.  Maintains and regularly updates documentation for servers, networks, services, and
other platforms.
9.  Provides support for database applications (SQL support for SIS, Identity and Access
Management systems, etc.)
