We ask that all students be at their designated bus stop 10 minutes before their scheduled pick up time.
Please call the Transportation office at 989-288-8995 if you need to make a change, or have a question about your child's transportation for the school year.
Thank you to all of our parents for being patient and understanding while we have had to make adjustments to routes this year to accommodate new students moving to our district as well as new kindergarten, pre-school and head start students. We are looking forward to a great year!
Parents, if your student needs to ride home on another bus or get off at another stop you must call the transportation office first and the supervisor will give the driver notification of the change. If a student gets on the bus with a note from the parent and/or school they will not be allowed to ride or get off at any other stop without prior parent permission through the transportation office.
If a student is riding home with another student a parent of that student and the parent of the student they are going home with must call the transportation office to give permission. Thank you for your cooperation in making our students safe.
Mission Statement
The mission of Durand Area Schools Transportation is to serve our students and community with integrity and respect by providing safe, caring, reliable, and efficient transportation every day.
Getting our students safely to and from school is only a small, but important part of transportation. More important is the connection our bus drivers make with their students each and every day. They are the first ones to see them in the morning and the last one to see at night before they go home. Nobody knows their students better then they do.
Thank you drivers for all you do every day going above and beyond to make sure all of our students make it to their destinations safely. You make this district proud!
